Nissan is piloting the effectiveness of the vehicle to grid technology (V2G) in different European cities, with plans for a further deployment across the continent. With V2G, Nissan electric vehicle owners will be able to connect to the grid to charge at low-demand, cheap tariff periods and have the option feed the electricity stored in the vehicle’s battery back to the grid for potential profit in times of higher demand.
With the 40kWh battery, Nissan electric vehicles take you farther than you thought possible. The e-NV200 now can cover 187 miles (WLTP Combined cycle) on a single charge - that's 60% farther than the previous generation battery. And the new Nissan LEAF gives you 242 miles (WLTP Combined cycle).
Want to get the most out of your electric car and extend your range? Choose ECO mode to stretch your range. It's especially helpful for city driving. Really, really serious about maxing out your range? Activate B mode. It delivers more aggressive regenerative braking which charges the battery without compromising on driving power. It is great for driving in the city or on the highway. To get the most mileage out of your Nissan EV, use B mode and ECO mode at the same time.
